Water Efficiency Calculations
(Building Regs Part G)

Recent droughts in the UK and increasing demand for new build constructions have highlighted the need for greater water conservation due to the increase on the existing water infrastructure. Reducing water use is crucial in order to preserve supplies as well as minimise greenhouse gas emissions.

The current building regulations (Part G) require a maximum water usage of 125 litres per person per day using the governments standard water usage factors. To comply with the National Standards for domestic housing, water conservation all new developments must comply with Approved Document G of Building Regulations, and accompanying planning policy requirements.

Green Castle Energy will provide clear and pragmatic solutions for reducing water consumption by advising on the size, flow rates, capacities and quantities for any size project.
